The Battery Park City Authority released its first proposals for increasing flood resiliency. The biggest changes are to Wagner Park, which will get a reconceived pavilion and a footbridge, but there will also be new walls and other barriers throughout the neighborhood.
Recent incidents shared by residents involve spitting, throwing objects at kids, picking fights, harassing families, even wielding a fake gun—and the alleged perpetrators include a gang that calls itself Tribeca's Most Wanted. UPDATE: And the reports of incidents keep coming in. / 76 comments
