PROGRESS REPORT: RESTAURANTS IN THE WORKS
If I have a hard time keeping track of all the restaurants currently in development, then it must be near impossible for anyone less obsessive. So here’s a recap of what’s coming, in the spaces that were once home to Province (right), Dennis Foy, Arqua, Grace, Danube, Bazzini, Fitz’s Pig ‘N’ Whistle, Delphi, and many others.

SPEAKING OF RESTAURANTS
Our neighbors at Sora Lella are offering Tribeca Citizen readers—even you—a free bottle of wine with dinner. (Read the details.) “Prompted by these posts, we went to Sora Lella last night with friends,” writes Henry Turner. “Nice service, great space, definitely authentic Roman vibe in food and staff. Pasta dishes in particular were excellent […]. And yes: free wine. I forgot the print-out of the page at home so just brought it up on my iPhone and showed it to the hostess and we were all set.”

TAMA GALLERY CLOSING JUNE 19
“As night falls in Tribeca for TAMA Gallery,” begins the sad email, “we invite our valued friends, clients and visitors to help us with the task of putting all our unique one-of-a-kind babies to sleep….” The sale starts Saturday.

CB1 TRIBECA: THE UNOFFICIAL MINUTES
The CB1 Tribeca committee discussed North Tribeca rezoning, a liquor license for 159 Duane, Locanda Verde sidewalk-seating (slapdown!), curb management, Salaam Bombay cooking odors, and more. Here’s my report.

NKOTB: OLIGHTING AND FASTRACKIDS
OLighting, which just opened on Walker Street, showcases contemporary European lighting. “No one is offering the designers we are,” says founder Andrew Chris. ••• “As a Wall Street person, I know what it takes to be successful,” says Ilysa Winick (left), who believes that her new business, FasTracKids/Enopi, can help children become confident and think creatively.

CALENDAR: JUNE 10–JULY 4
This weekend in Tribeca: ARChive’s record and CD sale; Nicole Kidman in “To Die For”; Leo Kottke; White Hinterland concert; the opening of 92YTribeca’s “Feria Artistica” show; “Real Dogs,” a play; multimedia opera; and many ongoing exhibits. Plus: The full calendar through July 4.

THE CSA CHRONICLES: DEEP GREENS
The first installment in Jolene Howard’s series on making something delicious out of whatever has arrived in the CSA box is a hearty salad that incorporates kale, turnip greens, radishes, and scallions (plus hazelnuts and cheese).

THIS CUP BRIMMETH OVER
From sports bars to fancy restaurants to Puma City at the Seaport (a dance club? really?), the neighborhood has plenty of places to watch the World Cup. The most intellectual option—the only intellectual option, probably—is Apexart, where the “Men With Balls” exhibit aims to create the perfect football environment.

WHERE IN TRIBECA…?
You know the drill: Email me at tribecacitizen [at] gmail [dot] com if you think you know where this photo was shot. I predict no one gets this, even though it’s the door of one of those only-in-New-York places that are fewer and fewer….
