  1. In the nosy neighbor category: What’s with the scaffolding at 110 Hudson? It’s been up going on 7 years and is paid for by the .1 percenter Michael Novogratz, who owns the 3-story penthouse at 110, to the tune of $6k/month. But it seems like he and the 110 Mayor for Life, Chuck Lowe, are locked into some kind of battle to the death about work on the building that’s been stalled for a year. Some affected neighbors — me for one — would like to see sunlight when we walk outside, instead of the jungle-gym of poles and plywood in front of our building because of their dispute. Just screaming “Tear down this wall, Mr Novogratz,” is not doing the trick. What gives?
