THE TIN BUILDING FOOD COURT IS ON ITS WAY
Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s giant food hall is on its way at the restored Tin Building, with 53,000 square feet of food stalls and six bars.

LOCAL LIBRARIES WILL OPEN MID-JULY
The New Amsterdam branch library, which closed in May 2018 for renovations, will be back open for in-person services along with the rest of the system.

SEEN & HEARD
More outdoor seating for Tribeca’s Kitchen. Plus the new protected bike lanes emerge on Varick; aka Tribeca no longer listed, but not gone yet; Wall Street Hotel scheduled for this fall.

THE LIST TO DATE FOR THE JUNE 22 PRIMARY
Random selection was used to decide who goes to the top of the ballot; plus early voting starts for the primary on June 12, but make sure you check your site.

DUANE STREET HOTEL IS CLOSED
The hotel opened here in 2007 and added to the local restaurant scene with Graffiti Earth. (But see new story on who has bought it…)
