Tribeca born and owned designer shop with truly unique ski togs for men and women that transition seamlessly to city life.
••• Mister Rogers would have given his stamp of approval on this brushed silk (Aztech developed the technique), cashmere-lined, zippered cardigan named after Linda Evangelista. $1850

The maternity boutique, the new brick and mortar for a brand founded here, also caters to the post-partum lifestyle.

The designer has converted the front of her showroom and office to retail and an explosion of color and her signature florals.
••• If this isn’t of the moment, what is? The CR floral pickleball racquet, for the obsessed. $125
••• A statement accessory that is a guaranteed hit. $195 for the square; $245 for the flower.

THE WESTSIDE

The husband and wife team behind Intermix, Haro and Sari Sloane Keledjian launched the California inspired boutique in 2017.
••• The nylon details on this super wearable and fluffy Oof sherpa jacket make the difference. It’s on our own lists now.
••• A better shaped pom-pom hat than the one you had in ’92, in cashmere made in Finland, where they know a thing about cold. Black or beige. $295

JENNI KAYNE

The California lifestyle brand does wardrobe essentials and luxe home goods and they have the sweetest wrapping for the holidays in muslin and velvet.
••• There’s a sweater for everyone at JK, and this one was chosen by my pal for her 20-something daughter. The Finley cropped cardi in desert. $295
••• When you’ve had enough of Birkenstocks: the shearling moc clog in laurel. (The footbed is leather so they will last longer too.) $375

NILI LOTAN

Tribecan Nili Lotan’s motto: “Minimalism means there’s room to roam.” Plus she does everything right.

The founder of Calypso St. Barth knows a thing or two about retail curation.
••• A perfect gift for just about any woman: Il Bisonte leather clutch, lined, with an interior pocket, and luxurious without breaking the bank. $200
••• Modeled by fashion manager Laziza Norma so you could see how fab it is: a wool beret from Japan in three colors. $95

ELYSE WALKER
39 N. Moore | Hudson & Varick
The stylist and luxury fashion retailer started her own stores in 1999 and opened here last November.
••• We didn’t expect to find a leather poker set, which is what’s fun about Walker’s shop. A great gift for any age. $950
••• Walker is the only store in NYC that carries these very smart totes from Paris. The Moreau Bregancon stand-up has a shoulder strap and can be hand-painted with a monogram for $150. $2040.

The tailor now also highlights brands that speak to their ethos of craftsmanship and design as part of the shop.
••• The shop is now featuring one-of-a-kind jeans from E.L.V. Denim, a British luxury denim brand that creates garments from upcycled material in their East London atelier. Each pair is truly unique. $460

••• Since you can never have too many bags and since a great gift is something you might not buy for yourself: Toteme pebble leather bucket bag. $1080
••• All of the shoes from the Belgian minimalist Sophie D’Hoore were special, but we were drawn to the pull-on gusset boot for the upcoming weather. $750
