HERE COMES BIRDBATH
Tribeca’s bakery explosion continues: We’re getting a Birdbath bakery (a rendering is at left), and it will have more packaged-to-go food and City Bakery’s famous hot chocolate.

CALENDAR: JULY 23–AUGUST 15
This weekend in and around Tribeca: New Amsterdam Market (on Saturday this time); Fulton Stall Market (on Sunday); Dragon Boast Festival family day; failed TV pilots; “Reclaim the Coast” benefit concert; concerts by Best Coast, Abrams Brothers, M Shanghai String Band, Joy Kills Sorrow, Free Energy, and Loose Limbs; children’s book artist Wendy Popp; authors Hal Ackerman and Adam Elenbass; and much more. WHERE IN TRIBECA
