Free COVID testing places in the neighborhood

The city is recommending ALL people get tested for COVID-19 and there are six sites within walking distance that are open for free tests. / 6 comments

Shigure is back open and serving sake to go

The charming sake bar on Church south of White reopened this week and is serving its usual takeout kitchen menu along with lots of sake and shochu options.

Gloria Jewel on West Broadway is closed permanently

The shop with the beachy vibe that opened here in 2013 has closed, but its sister stores just reopened out east after a temporary shutdown for the virus. / 1 comment
