I walked by the old American Flatbread space on Hudson this afternoon and saw strange plastic coverings being installed on the windows. Any idea what is going on? —K.
They’re flood-protection panels, being tested by the building’s owner now so they can be deployed in the event of a major storm.
For more on the restaurant opening in that space, click here. (I haven’t been able to peek inside in a long time, so I’m not sure how it’s progressing.)
