Do you know what’s going on with the DanceBody studio on Warren? It was scheduled to open in the spring. I’ve seen a few stop-work orders. —K.

I got this question a while ago, and while I was tracking down an answer, Ashley asked the same thing in a comment. There’s a dispute between the property owner at 51 Warren and the Department of Buildings applicant over whether work is allowed (which is the reason for the stop-work order from January that’s still in effect). Consequently, the project is held up until a resolution can be arrived at, and DanceBody founder Katia Pryce said that she doesn’t have a sense of the timeline yet. Here’s hoping the situation gets ironed out.
