These voids appeared in the surface of 1 World Trade Center months ago. Any idea what they’re for? —J.
“The windows were removed to allow the temporary window washing rigs to operate,” explains a rep for the Durst Organization. “When the permanent rigs are installed the glass will be replaced.”

“Widow” washing is a most unfortunate typo in connection with Durst.
Sorry, had to fix it.
Hi Erik – do you know if the pipe works on Warren Street between West Broadway and Church are really done as some of the doormen in the block mentioned or we should expect a new and even more invasive round of works similarly to what’s going on one block east on Warren btwn West Broadway and Greenwich ?
Thanks!
You should expect a new and even more invasive round of works similarly to what’s going on one block east on Warren between West Broadway and Greenwich. The project is slowly moving east, eventually stopping at Broadway.
Too bad but thx for confirming
