Click each link for the post that most thoroughly describes the business, including the location. The first handful are listed in possible order of opening—after that, it’s anyone’s guess

On Greenwich, next to Flywheel Sports. They’re saying February.

GURHAN ATELIER
The jewelry store on Franklin could very well be open by now; the PR firm doesn’t return my calls.

RACINES NY
Paris wine bar expands to Chambers. The sign in the window says February.

LIVE WELL COMPANY
The gym’s new space in the River Lofts building will hopefully be open March 1.

TUTTO IL GIORNO
Hamptons restaurant on Franklin. It must be coming somewhat soon, but the Hamptons outposts are closed till the end of January, and I don’t know how else to reach them. Anyone know anything?

MACARON CAFÉ
Sandwiches, salads, and macarons on Greenwich. Hopefully April.

EXCEED PHYSICAL CULTURE
Boot camp on Reade; they’re saying April.

EL VEZ
Mexikitsch by way of Philadelphia in the Conrad New York complex. The word is April.

BROOKFIELD PLACE
Totally reinvented mall; the restaurants should open soon.

TETSU
Masa’s teppanyaki spinoff on Leonard; the word had been late last summer, but that came and went. I emailed the info@masanyc.com address as directed, but I don’t expect to hear back.

WASHINGTON MARKET TAVERN
Murray Street restaurant related to Mudville 9; the word had been September. Hoping to hear an update from the owner…. UPDATE: April 1.

HUNTER COLLEGE ART SCHOOL
Art school with ground-floor gallery at Canal and Hudson.

BAKED
Red Hook bakery and casual food opening a spinoff on Church. They’re hoping for spring.

EUROPEAN WAX CENTER
Waxing salon on Chambers.

SWEET GREEN
D.C.-based salad chain opening on Greenwich this summer.

JUICE PRESS #2
Somewhere on Murray (I’d guess in the old Portobello’s Pizzeria). The forecast is May.

TRIBECA’S KITCHEN
Upscale diner from the Gee Whiz folks. They’re looking at late spring/early summer.

AÑEJO
Hell’s Kitchen Mexican restaurant opening in the old Bread Tribeca on Church. June?

27 DESBROSSES STREET
Restaurant and bar at Washington and Desbrosses; they’re saying early fourth quarter.

Work has started, or should soon, but when they’ll open remains unclear:

11 SIXTH AVE. RESTAURANT (NAME UNKNOWN)
22-hour diner on Sixth Ave.

HAUS
Nightclub in the Canal Room space.

66 LEONARD RESTAURANT (NAME TBD)
Russian-backed restaurant and café in the old Matsugen space; it’s been pushed back repeatedly but it’s still on.

THE FLEA
The theater is constructing a new building on Thomas.

SUPER LINDA REPLACEMENT
A new concept is in the works….

CAFETERIA
A new outpost of the Chelsea restaurant; opening who knows when in the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

ULTRAFIT
Fitness studio in the newly converted 37 Warren. Anyone know anything about this?

5 BEEKMAN HOTEL
Hotel and condos in one of downtown’s best buildings (possibly with Keith McNally restaurant).

DENNY’S
The crappy chain restaurant is ruining 150 Nassau.

HAWAII CUPCAKE FACTORY
Caribbean-American food and cupcakes galore in the Dean’s space.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL
The 82-story Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New York Downtown is under construction at 99 Church (a.k.a. 30 Park Place).

Work hasn’t started, to the best of my knowledge:

CAVIARTERIA
Caviar restaurant in the old Silver Lining space on Murray. Hoping to hear back from owner….

FAIRWAY MARKET
Uptown grocery opening diagonally across Greenwich from Whole Foods. Sometime this year.

PLANET FITNESS
Cut-rate gym on Canal, under the Sheraton and the post office. It’s not on the “opening soon” page of the company’s website.

PESCADO
Mexican seafood restaurant in what was Churrascaria Tribeca.

IPIC MOVIE THEATER
Seaport cinema with restaurant service; mid-2015.

BISUTORO REPLACEMENT
We’ll see what they come up with.

EPICERIE BOULUD
Daniel Boulud’s café and market. Location unknown…. for now.

CRUNCH
The gym wants to open at Franklin and Varick, but residents are suing to stop it.

I just reread the article you did on Spring Studios & it mentions that there will be no personal events such as Bar Mitzvahs, etc., however, I have friends coming from out of town to stay with me since they will be attending a wedding this Sat. at Spring Studios. So much for no personal events!

  2. Update, my friends got a new last minute wedding invite saying the venue has been changed to the Conrad Hotel so evidently Spring Studios was not ready to host an event yet & the wedding planner had to scramble to find a last minute event space.
