Any idea what the giant concrete thing on the Vestry side of 443 Greenwich is? Can’t figure it out. It’s above both street and sidewalk level so it can’t be a ramp. Hoping it’s temporary. Pic attached. —N.

“It is temporary,” confirmed a rep. “It will be for a construction hoist that will bring materials to each floor.” You can see why cobblestones might not make for a good base for that kind of thing….
